• Gently clean the wound under running water and dry with a piece of a gauze.
• Cut a fresh piece of gauze to the size and shape required.
• Place gauze onto the wound, securing with dressing tape or bandage.
• Apply a fresh dressing as required.
• Swabs should only be used once.
• Store in a cool dry place.

Hazards and Cautions

• Apply pressure to bleeding wounds.
• If bleeding persists, or there is any sign of infection, seek medical advice.
• Once the pack is opened, the contents are no longer sterile.
• Do not use swabs if package or seal is broken before first use.
